Fee transparency
Why do we charge a call-out fee?
Our £40 call-out fee is paid upfront to secure your booking and is deducted from the final job price. It covers vehicle dispatch, route planning and on-site assessment – keeping your crew ready the moment you need us. This is not an extra deposit; it forms part of your total price.
How do you price?
We price by cubic yard only — simple and transparent. For guidance, 100kg ≈ 1 cubic yard. No surcharges. You only pay for what we remove on the day.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — we're EA-licensed waste carriers and hold public liability insurance. Digital paperwork is provided.
Do I need to bag everything?
No — our team will do the lifting and loading. Just ensure access is clear.
What happens to my waste?
We prioritise reuse and recycling via approved partners. You'll receive digital paperwork.
Do you work with landlords and businesses?
Yes — regular collections and one-off clearances for landlords, agents and businesses.
What areas do you cover?
We cover Greater London, Kent, Surrey and nearby — generally within ~90 minutes of Orpington (BR6). See service areas.
Do you offer same-day?
Yes — most collections are same or next day. Choose a time window that suits you.
Do you take fridges, mattresses and sofas?
Yes — as part of mixed loads or single items. We collect and responsibly recycle bulky items such as fridges, sofas, and mattresses.
Can I get a receipt for my booking?
Yes — we provide digital receipts for all completed collections.
Note: Clear Your Space Ltd is not VAT registered, so VAT receipts aren't available.
What if access is tight or upstairs?
Two-person team handles stairs and tight access — we'll confirm details on booking.
